WILLIAM WALTON was a convict who was buried at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 29 March 1791. No convict by this exact name is found on the lists of convicts who arrived on ships prior to March 1791. However, it is most likely that he was the WILLIAM WALTER who was sentenced to fourteen years transportation at Berkshire in 1787 and sailed with the Second Fleet per Surprize (1) (1790).
