WILLIAM RAYNER was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 23 February 1792. His identity is not clear as there were a number of convicts transported to the colony with this name prior to this burial date. They include one Second Fleet convict WILLIAM RAYNOR per Scarborough (2) (1790) and WILLIAM RAYNOR per Albemarle (1791) and WILLIAM RAYNOR per William and Ann (1791).
