William McLane (d.1791)

WILLIAM McLANE was a convict who was tried and convicted at Maidstone, Kent and sentenced to seven years transportation on 17 January 1788. He arrived with the Third Fleet per Albemarle (1791) on 13 October 1791 and by mid-December that year he was dead. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 15 December 1791.
