WILLIAM GREGORY was a convict who was tried and convicted at the Somerset Assizes, Somerset, England and sentenced to seven years transportation on 26 March 1791. GREGORY arrived per Pitt (1792) on 14 February 1792 but did not last long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 5 April 1792.
