William Denby (d.1792)

WILLIAM DENBY was a convict who was tried and convicted at the Old Bailey and sentenced to seven years transportation on 14 April 1790. DENBY sailed from Portsmouth with the Third Fleet per Active (1791) on 27 March 1791 and arrived on 26 September 1791 but did not last long in the colony. He was the “WILLIAM DENBY, Convict” buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 10 June 1792.
