Thomas Stephens (d.1791)

THOMAS STEPHENS was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta. There were two people with this name on the Third Fleet; (1) THOMAS STEVENS per Salamander (1791) was convicted on 22 April 1789 at the Old Bailey and (2) THOMAS STEVENS per William and Ann (1791) who was convicted on 21 February 1787 at the Old Bailey. There was also a THOMAS STEPHENS convicted in Monmouth, Wales in August 1789. Further research required to determine which THOMAS STEVENS / THOMAS STEPHENS was buried at St. John’s in 1791.
