THOMAS HILL was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 20 February 1792. His identity is not clear as there were a number of convicts transported to the colony with this same name prior to this burial date. They include two First Fleet convicts THOMAS HILL per Friendship (1788) and THOMAS HILL per Scarborough (1788), and two Third Fleet convicts THOMAS HILL per Gorgon (1791) and THOMAS HILL per William and Ann (1791). Further research required, but it is more than likely he was one of the Third Fleeters.
