THOMAS BIGIN was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 16 March 1792. His identity is not clear as the name recorded as “THOMAS BIGIN” appears to be a misspelling and does not match with any of the names in the convict records for convict men who had arrived in the colony prior to 16 March 1792. He may have in fact been the Third Fleet convict THOMAS REGAN per Queen (1791). Further research required.
