ROBERT WILLIAMS was a convict who died in late October 1791 and was buried in an unmarked grave in St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 29 October 1791. There were multiple convicts who had arrived in the colony by October 1791 with this name including First Fleeter ROBERT WILLIAMS per Scarborough (1788), Second Fleeter ROBERT WILLIAMS per Surprize (1) (1790) and Third Fleeter per William and Ann (1791). Given the timing of his burial, just two months after the arrival of the William and Ann, it seems likely that he was the Third Fleeter. Further research required.
