LUKE GREEN was a convict who was tried and convicted at Derby, England and sentenced to seven years transportation on 1 August 1789. GREEN sailed with the Third Fleet on 27 March 1791 and arrived per Admiral Barrington (1791) on 16 October 1791, but he did not last long in the colony. “LUKE GREEN, Convict” was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 20 May 1792.
