Joseph King (d.1792)

JOSEPH KING was a convict who was tried and convicted at the York Assizes and sentenced to seven years transportation on 25 July 1789. KING arrived with the Third Fleet per Gorgon (1791) on 21 September 1791 but lasted only a short while in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 23 April 1792.
