Joseph Franklin (d.1792)

JOSEPH FRANKLIN was a convict who was tried and convicted at Essex, England and sentenced to seven years transportation in 1789. FRANKLIN arrived with the Third Fleet per Albemarle (1791) on 13 October 1791 but did not last long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 27 February 1792.
