JOSEPH EDWARDS was a convict who was tried and convicted at Derby, England in 1788 and sentenced to seven years transportation. He arrived with the Second Fleet on board Surprize (1) (1790) on 26 June 1790, and was buried at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 23 October 1791.
