JOHN WILSON was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 14 January 1792. His identity is not clear as there were many convicts transported to the colony with this name prior to January 1792. They include: First Fleet convict JOHN WILSON per Alexander (1788), Second Fleet convict JOHN WILSON per Surprize (1) (1790), and four Third Fleet convicts (two per Albemarle (1791), one per Atlantic (1791) and one per Britannia (1791).
