John Mason (d.1792)

JOHN MASON was a convict who was tried and convicted at Kent, England and sentenced to seven years transportation in 1786. MASON arrived with the Second Fleet per Neptune (1790) on 28 June 1790. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 2 February 1792 as “JOHN MAYSON, Convict” [sic].
