JOHN LEE was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 17 February 1792. His identity is not clear as there were three convicts with this name transported with the Third Fleet, including JOHN LEE per Active (1791), JOHN LEE per Gorgon (1791) and JOHN LEE per Matilda (1791). All three were sentenced to seven years transportation. Further research required.
