JOHN HUNTER was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave in St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 17 November 1791. There were two convicts with that name transported to the colony prior to November 1791; JOHN HUNTER per Scarborough (1790) and JOHN HUNTER per William and Ann (1791), so it is not yet clear exactly which one was the JOHN HUNTER buried in 1791.
