JOHN CLARK was a convict who was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 19 June 1792. His identity is not clear as there were a number of convicts named JOHN CLARK who arrived in the colony prior to this burial date including First Fleet convicts JOHN CLARK per Scarborough (1788) and JOHN CLARKE per Charlotte (1788) and two men named JOHN CLARK per Pitt (1792). Further research required.
