John Carr (d.1791)

JOHN CARR was a convict who was tried and convicted at Maidstone, Kent and sentenced to seven years transportation on 15 March 1790. He arrived with the Third Fleet per William and Ann (1791) on 28 August 1791. But, like so many of his fellow Third Fleeters, he did not survive long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 12 December 1791.
