JOHN BROOMFIELD was a convict who was tried and convicted at Warwick, England and sentenced to seven years transportation on 23 March 1790. BROOMFIELD arrived with the Third Fleet per Britannia (1791) on 14 October 1791 but lasted only a short while in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 20 April 1792.
