John Armsden (d.1792)

JOHN ARMSDEN was a convict who was tried and convicted at Bedford, England and sentenced to seven years transportation in 1787. ARMSDEN arrived with the Third Fleet per Matilda (1791) on 1 August 1791. Just under eight months later, he was buried as “JOHN ARNSTON, Convict” in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 27 March 1792.
