JAMES HARRIS was a convict who was tried in Surrey, England in 1783 and sentenced to fourteen years transportation per the Second Fleet ship Neptune (1790). He died in Parramatta and was buried at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 20 March 1791.
