Edward Lewis (d.1792)

EDWARD LEWIS was a convict who was tried and convicted at Carmarthen, Wales and sentenced to seven years transportation on 18 April 1787. LEWIS arrived with the Third Fleet per Salamander (1791) on 21 August 1791 but did not survive long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 12 April 1792.
