Daniel Smallwood (d.1792)

DANIEL SMALLWOOD was a convict who was tried and convicted at Warwick, England and sentenced to seven years transportation in 1787. SMALLWOOD arrived with the Third Fleet per Matilda (1791) on 1 August 1791 but did not survive long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 7 February 1792.
