BROOK THORNTON was a convict who was tried and convicted at the Sessions of the Peace for Liberty of Westminster, Middlesex and sentenced to seven years transportation on 6 April 1790. THORNTON arrived with the Third Fleet per Active (1791) on 26 September 1791 but did not last long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 6 May 1792.
