BENJAMIN GRISSELL was a convict who was tried and convicted at Winchester, Hampshire, England and sentenced to seven years transportation on 21 July 1789. GRISSELL arrived with the Third Fleet per Admiral Barrington (1791) but lasted only a short while in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 16 February 1792.
