Abraham Shaw (d.1792)

ABRAHAM SHAW was a convict who was tried and convicted at the West Riding Quarter Sessions, Wakefield, York, England and sentenced to seven years transportation on 11 January 1787. SHAW arrived with the Third Fleet per Matilda (1791) on 1 August 1791 but did not last long in the colony. He was buried in an unmarked grave at St. John’s Cemetery, Parramatta on 16 April 1792.
